when i was 13 years old, there were two things i looked forward to – soirees with the boys next door(i went to an all-girls’ catholic school) and friday nights to watch 90210.

it was cheesy, yes. fashionable, yes. catty, yes. shallow, yes. predictable, yes. filled with hot guys, yes. so yah, what’s not to love?

noee and i loved luke perry aka dylan mckay. in our teenaged eyes, he was sexy and fun – all in his rebellious, pseudo-james dean glory. i also LOVED brenda. kelly was just too perfect and blonde. i prefer girls who are catty and brunette(duh! blair waldorf, most def!).

but you know what saddens me? the new 90210. please.

even the thought of brenda and kelly meeting again does not trump the fact that the idea and the cast SUCK. what is this? riding on the coat tails of only the best show ever, gossip girl? and please, the wife of uncle jesse should not be part of 90210. yes, EVER.
