the amazing speech of barack obama in cairo. it’s a little long – 55 minutes but it’s SO WORTH IT. it’s one of those speeches that will be quoted forever. my favorite part of the speech is when he got into women’s equality –
“i am convinced our daughters can contribute [...]

a quote from obama’s town hall in california made me feel less of a dork for being a GG fanatic -
“Is he on, like, Gossip Girl or something?” —President Obama reacting to the boisterous applause mysteriously awarded to one questioner at a town hall in Los Angeles today.
so who do you think barry loves more? [...]

gossip girl wasn’t so great. i’m beginning to get really bored with it. BOOO.
on the other hand, the city is becoming redunkously addictive. HAHAHAHA.
and now the inauguration, michelle obama in isabel toledo!

SERIOUSLY?
consumerism has taken a different turn. if retail sales have been languishing at its lowest point in decades, presidential paraphernalia has never been this fever-pitched since the kennedys. from toilet paper to commemorative dildos? i think it’s gotten too far. the cultural and political significance of the obama presidency is turning into a joke.

even barack’s apparent choice for [...]

news about barack obama’s grandmother’s death woke me up this morning and definitely set a sad note on my day. on the eve of a historic election, i’m sure everybody who knows about barack’s own life story would feel some sadness as tutu, as barack fondly calls his grandmother, was the one who brought him [...]

i am not american but i’ve taken a deep interest in american politics because sadly, whatever happens in US poltiics affects the whole world. i have spoken much about my support for hillary clinton and i still am such big fan of hers. but at the end of the day, i still believe in [...]

a couple of months ago, i read somewhere that a group of astrologers predicted that the next US president would be a leo and his/her vice president would be a scorpio. i know, why am i even taking astrology so seriously even with presidential elections? well, it sorta works. and call me a weirdo, but [...]

i hate it when people tell me “i told you so” . but i’ll make an exception with this one, i will go ahead and say it myself.
“i told you so”
as much as i admire barack obama, my main issue against him is his lack of experience and lack of political beliefs. hillary clinton, [...]
